This introduction motorcycle tour will take you around Manali’s most picturesque countryside and sites. Orchards, forests, rivers, waterfalls, towering snowy mountains and fairy memories await you.
In morning we come to pick you up at the Kullu Airport or at the bus station and drive you to your hotel. Our representatives are there to provide you all the services and soon you’ll be introduced to the bikes and all details about the tour. Go-Pro Cameras on helmets, riding gears, Royal Enfield Bikes, let’s start riding around Manali valley with Adventure activities!
Let’s go for an extreme ride in direction of Rohtang pass (4050m altitude). From the top, you can see the snow white peaks of Lahaul Mountains that contrast with fluttering Buddhist prayer flags along the way. The pass provides a natural divide between the sub-humid/humid Kullu Valley with a primarily Hindu culture (in the south), and the arid/semi-arid high-altitude Lahaul and Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture (in the north). Back to Manali, a little trek to Anjani temple will be organized. After the visit, we move down to Solang Valley, a picturesque setting where we’ll do many adventure activities such as paragliding, zorbing or horse riding.
Visit of Vashisht well known for its hot springs and old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama. After taking a little bath in the holy hot spring waters, we’ll go for a little trek to Jogini waterfall, 3 KM from Vashisht temple, through apple orchards, tall pine trees and small water streams. We continue our visit towards Old Manali, on the other side of the river.Popular among foreign tourist and the entire market, the village is as idle as a fairy tale but at the same time it is exposed to the comfort of today’s world. The Guests Houses with cafes are important facets of Old Manali. There’s only one main road (Shops on both sides) and most cafes are located on this slanting road that leads deeper to the village. Cafes are cozy and exhibit hippie’s exuberance. This is a small place where all nationalities met. Finally, we’ll end our day full of discoveries by the visit of Hadimba temple built by Maharaja Bahadur Singh in the year 1553 in the worship of Hidamba Devi. This wooden temple is beautifully designed in a Pagoda style and there are many wooden carving works in the walls and main entrance door of the temple.
Head to Naggar and visit of its castle. The place is very scenic from where entire Kullu valley on both sides can be seen. There is a belief that the JagtiPatt stone, sacred slab of stone of the castle, rescues the local people against all ill effects. After the visit we follow our trip towards Jana and its beautiful natural waterfall. There we’ll taste home cooked food of the villagers. The food includes Rajma, Kadhi, Red Rice, Chutni and a local dish called ‘SIDDHU’. After tasting this delicious dish, we hit the road again in direction of Bijli Mahadev, one of the most sacred temples of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at an altitude of about 2,460m and from the temple, a panoramic view of Kullu and Paravati valleys can be seen. The name comes from the fact that, the lightening (Bijli) strikes the Shiva linga (Mahadev) inside the temple and breaks it into pieces. The priest of the temple collects all the pieces and joins them together with the help of a local butter acting as an adhesive. We leave this place full of mystery and reach Kasol, a village situated on the bank of Parvati River, where we’ll spend the night. Known as the “mini Israel” in Himachal Pradesh, Kasol offers the much needed respite for young Israelis desperate for a break after their compulsory military service. With a sizeable Israeli population, it comes hardly as a surprise that the signboards outside shops are also written in Hebrew and the recent inflow of Israeli tourists has triggered mushrooming of restaurants, hotels and shops catering to their needs. Kasol is an ideal destination for backpackers, trekkers and nature enthusiasts due to its scenic valley, untouched mountains and great climate throughout the year.
We start the day with a wildlife safari into the national park about 2-3 hours and soon after the visit hop on our bikes to reach the picturesque little town of Bundi with its colorful bazaars. You will note its particular architectural ornate forts and palaces. Bundi is also famous for its lake, the Nawal Sagar, and its unique kund, the Dabhai Kund, which well worth a visit for the spectacular carvings on the numerous steps leading down to the water level. A visit of Killar village and its surroundings are planned.
Situated few km far from Kasol only, Manikaran is located in the Parvati Valley between the rivers Beas and Parvati at an altitude of 1760m. Manikaran attracts tourists visiting Manali and Kullu to its pilgrim centres and hot springs. According to an old legend, Manikaran is connected with Lord Shiva and his divine consort, Parvati, who lost her ear rings here, which gave birth to hot waters on the bank of Parvati River. Surrounding by mountains and lush greenery, you’ll fully appreciate taking a holy dip in that amazing place.A little trek will be organized to Malana, one of the oldest democracies of the world and, according to a tradition, Malana was founded by remnants of Alexander the Great’s Army. To end this adventurous day a little rafting will be organized down the Kullu River.
