Zanskar is famous for its high beautiful mountains and landscape. Zanskar is one of the most unexplored places in Jammu and Kashmir. The pleasant climate, landscape, snow-capped Himalayan Mountains, and sparking rivers make Zanskar a perfect holiday destination for worldwide tourists.

Day 1-MANALI

In morning we come to pick you up at the Kullu Airport or at the bus station and drive you to your hotel. Our representatives are there to provide you all the services and soon you’ll be introduced to the bikes and all details about the tour. Go-Pro Cameras on helmets, riding gears, Royal Enfield Bikes, let’s start riding around Manali valley with Adventure activities!

Day 2-MANALI- JISPA

On that day, we’ll start riding in direction of Keylong, traveling over the Rohtang pass which reaches an altitude of 4050m and from where you can see the snow white peaks of Lahaul Mountains that contrast with fluttering Buddhist prayer flags along the way. The pass provides a natural divide between the sub humid/humid Kullu Valley with a primarily Hindu culture (in the south), and the arid/semi-arid highaltitude Lahaul and Spiti valleys with a Buddhist culture (in the north). From that side, we follow our route towards Keylong. Situated at an altitude of 3440 m, Keylong is the headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh and the most populated place of that region. The region is strange, exciting, primitive mountainous and delightful. Among the white and brown mountain, Keylong stands out as oasis of greenery in the district. Rudyard Kipling said of the region “Surely the God live here”, this no place for men. Lahaul and Spiti have hardly changed with the time. People still live the way they used to live and strongly believe in conserving nature. Valley, river, mountains and green landscape makes Keylong an exciting picturesque destination for bikers and aside from its amazing landscape, the vicinity of Keylong offers several places, temples, monasteries and bazaar which are worth visiting.

Day 3-JISPA – PURNE

Get ready to enter in the pure Himalayan wilderness! We will cross Shinkula Pass 5091mts., which was closed until 2020.It is some of the most challenging road towards Ladakh now a days . Full of gravel and crazy water streams which will give you exteme level of adrenaline. you can see incredible mountain beauty full of snow peaks.

We start our descent to the isolatedpurne village reach Pang,There we’ll camp and spend a fun and convivial time together before sleeping among the clouds.

Day 4 PURNE -PADUM

From Purne, let’s start our ride in direction of PADUM! We follow an endless strip of asphalt along with Zanskar river towards PADUM, Padum (also known as Padam) is a town named after Padmasambhava. A biggest town of Zanskar valley situated at 3657mts.

Day 5-PADUM

On this day we will take a short break from the long ride to see more of Zanskar’s main sights.
A number of notable Buddhist monasteries are located near Padum including Bardan Monastery and Kursha Monastery and the newly built Dalai Lama Photang.

Day 6 PADUM – KARGIL

After taking advantage the last time of this wonderful place, we follow our route in direction of Kargil.A quiet town now, in the past it served as an important trade and transit center for the Central-Asian merchants due to its unique equidistant location. Aside from revealing breathtaking views of the unfolding mountains cape or a magic sunset with the changing hues and shades of the hills, Kargil also offers some interesting walks through the suburban villages nestling along the rising hillsides of the river valleys.

Day 7 KARGIL-LEH

From Kargil, let’s start our ride in direction of Leh! wide and straight road. The way is home to many species of animals like the Tibetan wild ass or kiang, Flanked by beautiful mountains on both sides, this area is a major attraction to the Bikers heading towards Leh from Kargil. This huge ‘top-of-the-world’ plateau presents a landscape unlike anything else on your journey.

Day 8 – LEH

On this day we will take a short break from the long ride to see more of Ladakh’s main sights. India’s “Little Tibet” was highly influenced by the presence of Singge Namgyal, the greatest king of Ladakh, who decided to open the famous trade route to the Central Asia region. In 1974 the region was opened for visitors and since 2002 has a substantial number of tourists. Nowadays, Leh is the most important town and the capital of the Ladakh region. With 27,513 inhabitants and an altitude of 3524m, the town tripled its size in the last two decades and became a focal point for sightseeing. In addition of its many cultural places and monuments (Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Leh Mosque, Namgyal Tsemo Gompa…) mostly influenced by Tibetan secular architecture, you will find great enjoyment losing yourself in the small charming narrow streets, going to meet local people and hang around in the small craft shops and markets.

Day 9 LEH – HANLE

The route from Leh to Hanle in the Ladakh region of India is a breathtaking journey that spans approximately 250 kilometers. Travelers embarking on this route are treated to stunning landscapes, high-altitude desert terrain, and mesmerizing views of the Himalayas. The road is known for its challenging conditions, with mostly rough, unpaved sections and high mountain passes, requiring careful driving and preparation. Hanle is a remote village located in the Hanle Valley, home to the Hanle Monastery and the Indian Astronomical Observatory, making it an intriguing destination for stargazers and those interested in the region’s cultural and scientific heritage. The journey from Leh to Hanle offers a unique adventure through some of the most remote and picturesque areas of Ladakh.

Day 10 HANLE- UMLINGLA – HANLE

Hanle to Umling La is a mesmerizing journey through the remote and rugged terrains of Ladakh in India. Hanle, situated in the eastern part of Ladakh, is renowned for its high-altitude observatory and ancient monastery. Traveling from Hanle to Umling La involves navigating challenging mountain roads, vast landscapes, and high-altitude passes. Umling La, one of the highest motorable passes globally, stands at an elevation of approximately 19,300 feet (about 5,883 meters). The route offers breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks, barren valleys, and pristine surroundings. Travelers embarking on this journey should be well-prepared for the harsh climate, thin air, and rugged road conditions. The path from Hanle to Umling La presents an adventure that’s both physically demanding and spiritually rewarding, providing an immersive experience in the untouched beauty of the Ladakhi wilderness.

Day 11-HANLE – LEH

Riding a bike from Hanle to Leh is a thrilling and unforgettable adventure in the Ladakh region of India. This journey takes you through some of the most breathtaking and remote landscapes in the world. Here’s a small description of what you can expect on this epic ride. Starting in Hanle, a picturesque village in the Changthang plateau, you’ll first encounter the serenity of the high-altitude desert with its vast expanses of barren land and clear blue skies. Hanle is known for its ancient monastery and the enchanting Hanle Observatory, which makes it an interesting place to kickstart your journey.

Day 12-LEH – TSO-MORIRI LAKE

The motorcycle ride to Tso Moriri Lake is an adventure like no other. The journey begins in the town of Leh, which is itself a popular destination for adventure enthusiasts. From Leh, riders must navigate steep mountain passes, rocky terrain, and high-altitude roads that can be treacherous even in the best of weather conditions. The Tso Moriri Lake is located at an altitude of 4,522 meters, making it one of the highest lakes in the world.

Day 13-TSO-MORIRI LAKE – SARCHU

We take the road again towards Sarchu, (also known as Sir Bhum Chun), a major halt point with tented accommodation. We will spend the night there at an altitude of 4290m!

Day 14-SARCHU-MANALI

From Sarchu, we begin to ride back in direction of Manali , through the wonderful region of Keylong that will still captivate you with its unique and majectic landscape. Back to Manali where our riding days come to the end. For our last night a warm farewell with camp fire, barbecue and guitar live show will be organized with Hardev Motors Team.We hope that you spent an enjoyable trip with us.

Day 15-MANALI

End of the tour. In the morning, you are free to do some shopping for the family and friends. Shawls, Tweed jackets, costume jewelry, Tibetan handicrafts are the local arts and crafts that you can find easily in Manali and for a reasonable price. After lunch, a transfer to the Kullu airport or Manali bus station will be organized by our team as per your schedule.
