Dear Riders, Hardev Motors welcomes you to an unforgettable moto adventure in Asia. As a fully registered operator (IPA 1932, Himachal Tourism Act 2002, MTOA Act 1860), our commitment to safety and transparency is reflected in the following terms for your Weekend Throttle Manali experience.

Online Booking

To secure your seat a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required within 7 days of booking confirmation,Seat reservations must be made at least 90 days before the ride due to limited resources and accommodation options in the Himalayas. The remaining 50% balance is due on your arrival day. You will receive a booking confirmation, visa support documents, and a detailed itinerary in PDF format. Please keep these documents with you during your ride.

Motorcycle Security Deposit

Our motorcycles are third party insured; however, Indian law excludes claims for certain losses. Riders must deposit USD 150 (non-refundable in case of physical damage, clutch or body damage via rough usage). Travel cheques are not accepted.

Cancellation and Refunds

40% refund available only if cancellation occurs 60+ days prior to tour start.

No refund after this period.

In cases of natural disasters, roadblocks, accidents, or force majeure, Hardev Motors reserves the right to change/abort the route with no refund for the unused portion due to safety priorities.

Liability & Responsibility

Riding in Asia requires awareness of local crossing animals, schools, and village roads; riders must maintain safe speed for both themselves and others.

Riders are responsible for having personal health and travel insurance. Hardev Motors is not liable for physical/fatal injuries.

Garbage disposal must follow team instructions to preserve the environment.

Dangerous or disrespectful behaviour to group members will result in removal from the ride with no refund.

Riding Rules

  • Strict speed limits: 40-70 KMPH in Himalayan regions; 40-85 KMPH elsewhere.
  • No overtaking the Road Captain.
  • Use certified helmets, riding gear, and shoes at all times.
  • Carry hydration bags and minimize single-use plastics.
  • Personal medical kit, warm clothing, and snacks are mandatory.
  • Always ride on the left-hand side of the road.
  • Never ride in half-clutch to avoid clutch plate damage.
  • Uphill: Front disc brake first, then shift to hard gear; Downhill: Lower gear first, then front brake.
  • Early starts may be required to avoid night riding.

Trip Extension

If unforeseen circumstances require a trip extension, or you choose to extend, additional fees apply.

Conditions to Participate

  • Riders: Must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid motorcycle and international license, be in good health, and have 2+ years riding experience.
  • Pillions: Must be at least 18 years old, have prior co-riding experience, and be in good health.
  • Valid travel and health insurance required.
  • Only rucksack or duffel bags allowed (no suitcases).

Essentials to Carry

Riding jacket, lower, shoes, helmet, face mask, thermals, waterproof poncho, medical kit, sun-protection, sunglasses, Go-Pro camera, extra shoes, hand sanitizer, sleeping bags (for emergencies), warm and light clothes.
