The Classic 350 is a lovely Royal Enfield for a certain Himalayan day: lower, greener, slower, and closer to Manali. It is not the motorcycle we issue for Leh. This page exists so that search does not glue those two facts together.
Hardev Motors is known for Himalayans because the expeditions need them. The Classic 350 remains a tool for Kullu valley loops, Naggar, a Solang afternoon, and guests who want the thump and the upright chrome without pretending they are on an adventure-bike itinerary.
A Classic 350 Himalaya ride with us is a valley product: guided or rental, short distances, time to look at a castle or a river. Ground clearance, weight on gravel, and the way the 350 sits on a broken high-pass shelf are why we refuse it for Kunzum and Baralacha. That refusal is the service.
Tourists are often sold a Classic 350 in Manali because the fleet is cheap and photogenic. Then the same tourist is pointed at Rohtang as if geometry were a rumour. We would rather you take a Himalayan 411 for the pass, or stay in the valley on the 350 with a smile.
If you already own a Classic 350 and want to bring it on a custom date, we will talk about the route, not the romance. A private Kullu–Mandi loop can be a 350 story. A private Padum story cannot, unless you enjoy sump anxiety as a hobby.
Availability of 350s in our yard is not the same as Himalayan availability. Ask. Do not assume a row of chrome is waiting because a blog from 2014 said Manali was all Classics.
Orchard roads, town traffic, a lunch that is not a packet of Maggi at 4,000 metres. You will still need attention. Indian valley traffic is not a video game. The 350 is narrow enough to be a pleasure if you are not in a hurry.
Pillion on a 350 for a short valley hop can be civilised. Pillion on a 350 toward a pass is how the holiday becomes a push. We will say which one you asked for.
Most of the year from Manali, with winter ice on the high side roads still a reason to stay low. A Classic 350 does not unlock a winter Leh crossing. If you want mountains that are actually high, change motorcycle or change month.

01 · Discovery
We map dates, riding level and constraints for a Classic 350 Himalaya ride — including season, permits, and whether a fixed departure or a private date is the honest fit.
02 · Plan
Itinerary, nights, and what has to stay realistic on a phone-sized day in the week you booked. You get the route in writing before anyone issues a Himalayan.
03 · Ride
Lead rider, support, daily bike checks. a Classic 350 Himalaya ride is ridden at the pace the road allows that week, not the pace a brochure promised last year.
04 · Hand-off
Go-home briefing, bike return in Manali or the published finish, and the same contact if you want the next range next season.
Not as our issued tour bike. If you insist on your own 350, we will still argue the itinerary. The honest answer is take a Himalayan.
In a valley, sometimes. It is still a heavy motorcycle in traffic. “Beginner” does not mean “no clutch control.”
The published expeditions use the Himalayan 411. Valley custom days can use a 350.
Because the booking is easy and the pass is famous. We are more interested in you coming back with the sump intact.

Tell us the route. If it is a valley day, we will talk 350s. If it is a pass, we will talk Himalayans. That is the whole page.
