Leh is the capital of a high desert, not a finish line you high-five and fly out of the next morning. Motorcycle tours in Leh Ladakh need nights in town before Nubra or Pangong, and more nights if Zanskar is the real objective.
Hardev Motors reaches Leh from Manali on the high highway. From Leh the map splits: Khardung La and Nubra, Chang La and Pangong, or south into Zanskar toward Padum.
Inner Line Permits are not a souvenir. They are paperwork with dates. A guided tour carries that load so you are not arguing at a checkpoint with a photocopy.
Altitude is the first terrain. Drink, sleep, say if you feel wrong. The second terrain is gravel, ice in the shade, and army convoys that do not owe you a racing line.
Pangong is a lake day. Nubra is a valley day. Neither is “Ladakh done.” Zanskar is a different country of gorges.
