Kangra is a wide valley under the Dhauladhar, not a high pass. Motorcycle tours here are foothill, tea, and fort country — a different Himachal from Kullu’s gorge.
Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj sit in this district. Palampur tea, Kangra fort, and the road toward Chamba are the riding, not a mall in Dharamshala.
Hardev Motors does not keep a Kangra yard. Custom dates stitch this west face into a Manali or Sach Pass story when the days exist.
Lower than Lahaul, still mountain. Monsoon on this face is serious. Autumn is the kind window for a Kangra motorcycle week.
October–November and March–April. Avoid treating July as a tea-garden holiday on a Himalayan.
