Kullu is the valley Manali sits in. Bike rides here are lower, greener, and useful: you learn the Himalayan, the traffic, and the river road before anyone mentions Baralacha.
The Beas valley is orchard country and ordinary Indian traffic. That is the point of a first day. Riders who skip Kullu and drive straight at a pass often spend the evening talking about the clutch instead of the mountains.
Hardev Motors starts every Manali departure in this district. A dedicated Kullu ride is for guests with a few days, or for a shake-down before a longer tour.
Naggar, the river alignment, and loops that stay below the high snowline. Distances are modest. The skill is attention, not altitude.
You can add Solang or the tunnel approach if the group is already comfortable. We will not pretend a Kullu afternoon is a Ladakh expedition.
