The Thar is a desert with roads, villages, and wind, not a rally stage. Hardev’s Thar Desert Ride is a winter motorcycle tour that treats sand as terrain, not as a product you buy by the hour.
Jaisalmer is the obvious hub. The interesting kilometres are outside the fort parking. We ride, we stop in places that still function as villages, and we do not chase sunset on a hired ATV.
Mixed surfaces. Keep the Himalayan light. Follow the lead rider in sand; hero lines bury bikes.
